About Us…

Promise Ministries is a Lutheran church.  We have been established for over 25 years.  The church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  This link will take you to the LCMS Beliefs and Practice page of their website.   Here you can find great detail what the church declares it believes and its structure.
To sum it all up in one statement ….
We believe that we are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Our Mission Statement: Deliberately disciple people into fully devoted followers of Christ.

How do I get there?

Promise is located at…

What should I wear?

Promise is a “come as you are” environment. We are casual and comfortable.

Where do my kids go?

Wee Worship is our Preschool Ministry for ages 3 – 5, not yet in Kindergarten. They meet in room 106.

Jr. Worship takes place in Room 108 for children in grades Kindergarten – 1st grade and Room 110 for 2nd – 3rd grade. Children will be escorted from the service, after the Children’s message, to their designated areas and return to their families following communion.

What are services like?

Services are opened in contemporary, praise music by our worship band, lyrics to the songs are printed on overhead screens, and typically we stand.
We partake in confession and absolution as one body.
There are readings from the Bible.
There is a children’s message and children are led to their classrooms for worship and study.
The sermon is given and allows us to spend time in God’s Word, and then apply it to our lives .
Every service offers communion.
We pray together.
We confess our faith together (usually through the Apostles Creed).
We close with the benediction (sending prayer).
Services are one hour.

How do I become a member at Promise?

We host new members luncheons a couple of times each year. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about our church and what we believe. If you are interested in becoming a member, please join us at one of these luncheons! Stay tuned for future dates.
