Additional Ways to Pray for Your Church – December 2024
“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her first-born son. She wrapped him in clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke2:6&7 …And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Luke 2:52
Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, and the pattern for living that He taught us throughout Your Word. Forgive us for not reading Your Word or not following it when we do read it. We pray for Your Holy Spirit to touch our spirit during this Advent/Christmas season. Revive our hearts, minds, and spirits and remind us once again of Your great love for us by sending a Savior; that because of Him we are equipped to be change agents in a lost and dying world. Show us how we can be better at being Your Church on earth; each in our own community, our own family, our own daily life. Help us to grow tall in Godly Wisdom and stand strong for Your truth that we may find favor with God and men. These things we ask according to Your Word and in the Holy name of Jesus. Amen!
